Very very very slow "instant" digital delivery ! March 10, 2010 Helena Vodakova I thought since this was "Online Game Code" 5$ expensier than a hardcopy and classified as "online" it will be a matter of minutes untill you reicive your code ! But guess what, that doesnt work that way at all (to me, an I can see a lot of others in here too complaining) ! It can take hours (me), (or even a day or two for some) for you to get your code !!???
It is gonna cost you less time to go to some of malls to buy this code (and less money) than wait to get confirmation on your mail!
You never know when you gonna get it, well thats called a lottery ! And that is a fact !
Why the weird exchange rate? March 4, 2010 Eds (San Francisco, CA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is OK in that I appreciate having the option to download content, like the Lost in Nightmares expansion to Resident Evil 5. However, I'm dissappointed with Microsoft's exchange rate gimmick. It would be more consumer friendly if they had a simple system with $1 = 100 points, instead of the current system where $1 = 80 points. It's annoying because it makes them look like they are trying to confuse users into thinking they are paying less than they really are; that was probably their intention as I can't find a better reason that they would do this. Of course, I could be a cynic and they could be trying to do their part and help Americans with their math skills, but I doubt that's the case. Unfortunately I can't say this really surprises me, as it's indicative of the spin-heavy, consumers-be-damned culture that afflicts Microsoft.
Another Great Item March 4, 2010 B. Evans (Marlton, New Jersey) I needed some points for my 360, and this went on sale at just the right time. I am glad I bought it when I did. Amazon Prime came through again with free 2 day delivery. Thanks!
very convinient March 2, 2010 Carlos Salinas (Germany, Ramstein) i love that you can get an instant online code and add ms points. this is very useful for military members like me because for some reason microsoft doesn't let me put in APO billing address so i cant add ms points right of my Xbox.
Worth the money....because it was on sale. February 22, 2010 Brandon C. Baumann (Aurora, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Microsoft xbox live points system is scewed up....but if you can buy point for less than face value....well that's what makes Amazon so great.
