I bought this supernintendo because I use to play this game when i was younger however it doesnt work and it was listed as like new condition so becarefull of this seller it doesnt work and i contacted them and no response so very bad and fishy seller it just doesnt work

Received this system from LukieGames. It brought back alot of memories playing Zelda! The pricing was great. And you can still get all the old games for it!
I would like to mention... Be sure to get one with Composite plug (red, white, yellow), because some come with the old RF Adapter cable (like a cable tv coax plug) that won't work with newer TV's. About half come with the Composite and half with RF. If it comes with the RF plug, then you can buy the Composite plug that fits both the SNES and N64 for about $8 (from LukieGames) that works great on new TV's! Just wanted to let you know so that you don't get excited about it when it arrives and then find that you need a different plug, like I did!

My two sons, 20 and 6, are really out of their minds with this. The older one had a SNES when he was 6 or 7 years old, and he and me had really good times with that SNES, until it was stolen. Anyway, they both can play for hours, and are having funny weekends. So do I. And about the seller... well. Kathie is really great. If you want to know what quality in customer service means, talk to her.

A Snes in 2010?? March 25, 2010
I have done the most unlikely thing someone my age has ever done, get a SNES! Using my earned money, I searched for months for a good SNES, with games and all the cables. After taking 2 weeks to get here (Overseas) I opened it up and to my delight, had Star Fox, and PilotWings ( I have made a review of Star Fox). But when I turned it on, it would not! But the 3rd party power cable was frayed at the base ( Without the ovbious answer of check the cables, I could have not solved it!)! So I soldered it back on and fixed it. The controller is rather large even to me, but it is a good size. The yellowing on my system was minimal on the top, but the bottom was worse. So I hooked it up the the 50" 720P HDTV, and with a bit of tweaking to the zoom command, Star Fox was in fullscreen ( but it still had bars on the side). I really like the "toaster" ejector on this, along with the purple Reset Slider and Power Switch. I am also using the gamecube ( i have one too, with a Ps1, Ps1 and Wii and this) cable for the other Tv's to stop myself from carring too many cables upstairs. The two games I really want to get are Mega Man X (getting it really soon) and Yoshi's Island ( With the Super Fx Chip 2). Now TECHINCAL TALK TIME!
The Super NES is 16bit, allowing it to address about 57-65 MBits ( or bytes?) of RAM and memory. The Colour Pallet is with 256 colours (about 2 8th power) available at one time, from over 32,000 colours ( 15 bits of it!) The CPU has varible clock rate , but mostly 3.58 MHZ. The Super FX games use more pins than the regular ones. Also the Super FX 1 could onyl render Hundreds of polys at a time! Most games are about 1-2 MBs, with extra ROM chips need to store all that info. Mega Man X is a really good looking 2d game without any helper chips ( and is 12 bit?).
So to end this, I can agree that the SNES is a really great console for its time and has sold over 49 Millon systems. I give this 5 Stars for Retroness, Oldness, funess and 16-bitness! I might review Mega Man X when the time is right! If only those pesky kids would stop playing " Hi-Tech Hd" Ps3's and Xbox 360s and try a SNES instead ( I have! Only with the Wii to SNES change). One final note, I have Mario World and Kirby's Dreamland 3 on my Wii.
PS Star Fox is running now, with a small chance of catching on fire due to the exposed wires since I had to solder them! If you did notice it, I know quite alout about electronics and computers.
