 Functions but doesn't last August 29, 2010

This is a great product my SNES works perfectly with it, but it has one major issue. This adapter is the 4 one of these because this adapter does not last longer than 6-12 months. After that it cracks from overheating or just simply stops working. I take good care of all my video games, this is my only thing that consistently needs to be monitored and fixed.
I'd buy it again but thats because there is no better new product available.

I've missed playing my snes for the longyuest time. Now that I have this power cord I am able to go back to enjoying it. Thanks.

this does exactly what it is suppost to do. the only two problems i had out of it were: I wanted it to be a little cheaper in price, and two I wish there was someway to tuck the cord not being used out of the way better. Other than that this product works great.

The only complaint I have about this item is that it gets hot where it plugs in to the outlet. It even gets very hot when it is just plugged in and the SNES is not being used. But, hey, it makes my SNES work so it getting hot isn't all that bad!!

I purchased this item to use to power my SNES unit. Unfortunately, when I went to play my favorite old games, there were large, blurry, green lines running down the screen. I thought the problem was with my RCA cables. I searched online and found out that these "aftermarket" AC adapters cause this. It DID power the unit, at the cost of obnoxious green lines. Buy the Nintendo brand power source, not this one!
